To develop internal processes for managing and developing people to ensure that company targets are met and that individuals are properly developed. The systems also had to meet the standard required by Investors in People.
Building on existing practice and experience, Eric and Sarah Thompson researched best practice and designed internal processes to incorporate the best practice in a way that met the company style and philosophy. Having implemented the systems, and trialed them with staff, an independent consultant carried out a staff survey to gauge reaction and identify any concerns.

The company has developed a robust system for dealing with staff performance, which enables the company to achieve its own objectives and to develop its people to be able to tackle new opportunities. The system was also independently assessed and shown to meet IIP standards.
