The product in action - a case study

The Client

A management consultancy, working in the area of helping clients to manage change, particularly in the people area.

The Need

The need was to identify what had to be done before the company could achieve the Investors in People standard and to put in place a plan to achieve that.

What we did

Eric and Sarah Thompson researched the requirements of the standard, and researched availability of consultants with expertise as to what specific systems and processes the company would require to meet the standard. Engagement of the consultant enabled a gap analysis to be carried out and a detailed plan developed to show what had to be done to meet the standard. Once the plan had been carried out, including the development of a number of internal processes and systems a dummy assessment was arranged to check for any final gaps before the assessment process was launched.
